Hanging on Every Word
What does it truly mean to hang on every word? In this powerful closing message of the Significant series, we are challenged to rethink how we listen, who we trust, and what kind of voices we allow to shape our lives. Drawing from 2 Timothy 4, we explore Paul's final words to Timothy, a son in the faith, and discover that wisdom is not just something we receive passively. It is something we must actively pursue, bit by bit, through a process the Bible calls gleaning. We are reminded that every person in our lives holds a potential role, whether as a spiritual guide, a financial mentor, or a relationship anchor, and that filling those roles intentionally is one of the most important investments we can make in our own growth. The message cuts through the noise of a culture that wants its ears tickled and calls us back to the kind of wisdom that corrects, rebukes, and ultimately transforms. If we have been avoiding the hard truths, this is our invitation to stop running and start growing.
