I've Changed My Mind

This powerful message challenges us to examine what we allow to define us and invites us to make a life-changing decision: to stop letting our struggles, circumstances, or past complete our identity. Drawing from the remarkable story in Mark 5:25-34 of the woman who suffered from bleeding for twelve years, we discover that transformation begins with making a decision and telling ourselves a different story. This woman had endured much at the hands of many physicians, spent everything she had, and only grew worse—yet after hearing about Jesus, she told herself repeatedly that if she could just touch His garment, she would be healed. The profound truth here is that nothing is more powerful than a mind that is made up. When we decide we're no longer okay with being defined by what we carry—whether it's pain, disappointment, or failure—we position ourselves to pull power from Jesus. The woman didn't need Jesus to approve her healing; the moment she touched Him, power flowed immediately. This reveals that we don't always need to hear from Jesus to access His power—it's already available, waiting for us to plug into it through faith. The challenge before us is clear: will we continue to just be part of the crowd, rubbing shoulders with Jesus, or will we reach out with intentional faith to pull power from Him? Our faith, not our circumstances, determines our breakthrough.
